When we think of chakras, the human body and the main energy centers that we know from the Hindu tradition immediately come to mind. But the planet, like the living organism that it is, the planet also has its chakras that help the Earth maintain its balance.

To talk about chakras, you have to talk about energy. Energy is everything that vibrates: light, sound, the sun's rays, water. Everything that exists in the Universe is composed of energy and, therefore, vibrates and exchange information with the whole. Just as everything that exists has an energetic emanation, everything that lives needs vital energy (or Prana) to stay alive. And this energetic exchange, this connection to the spiritual, is made by the energy vortices, both in human beings and on planet Earth.

Some of these places can be visited and this intense energy harnessed by those looking for a greater connection with nature and the spiritual world. Let's get to know the Earth's chakras?

LEY LINES AND THE CHAKRAS OF THE PLANET.

The Earth's chakras are physical places, charged with energy that help keep the planet and all life in balance. Little is said about these places, and depending on the esoteric line, you will find different information about the topic. Some claim that there are only 7 chakras of the planet, while others claim that more than 150 energy vortices spread on the surface and within planet Earth.

If we base ourselves on the human body, we will see that this diversity makes sense. We have 7 main chakras, but there are many energy vortices that we have. For millennia, the Earth has been recognized as the giver of life, as “Mother Earth”, a fully connected and living organism. So, as we are the offspring of this life, or adapted to live under these conditions, it makes sense that the seven major chakras on Earth correspond to the 7 major human chakras.

Our best-known chakras extend from the base of the spine to the crown of the head and are connected through a current of power that flows between them. Likewise, the Earth's energy vortices are connected through a network of ley lines that create a powerful energy field and provide an interconnectedness between the planet, the life that inhabits it, and the spirit world.

WHAT ARE LEY LINES.

We are connected to the earth through the subtle electrical current that runs across the planet. These electrical currents are marked as “Ley Lines” and are almost like Mother Earth's veins. Just as we have veins that flow in and out of the heart, Earth has Ley lines, which are lines of energy that wrap around the planet in a similar way to a strand of DNA.

Where the Ley lines intersect is believed to be high energy points or high electrical charge machines known as chakras or energy vortices.

It is also said that these Ley lines are capable of extracting information or energy from these higher vibrational points and transporting it around the world, spreading knowledge and wisdom to all inhabitants. This would be one of the explanations for the fact that remarkable discoveries and some evolutionary leaps in human history have taken place simultaneously around the globe as if there was contact and exchange of information between ancient civilizations.

These intersections along the ley lines also coincide with some of the most sacred temples and monuments in the world, including the Pyramids of Egypt, Machu Picchu, Stonehenge and Angkor Wat. When you look at advanced civilizations like the ancient Egyptians, it's clear that they seemed to understand the energy and power of the ley lines, due to the alignment of some buildings with this energetic layout.

In fact, most ancient cultures around the world seem to have some understanding of the Ley lines. In China, they are known as Dragon Lines. In South America, shamans referred to them as spiritual lines, in Australia, the ancient aborigines called them dream lines and in the West, they were called ley lines. What is also interesting to note is that where the ley lines meet, there is also a perfect alignment between the astrological constellations.

WHERE ARE THE 7 CHAKRAS OF PLANET EARTH.

"Be as simple as you can be, you'll be surprised to see how simple and happy your life can become" Paramahansa Yogananda

1.MOUNT SHASTA: THE FIRST CHAKRA (ROOT)

Located in the United States, Mount Shasta is a mountain located in the Cascades Mountain Range, north of the US state of California. With 4322 m of altitude and 2994 m of topographic prominence, it is considered an ultra-prominent peak.

The exuberance of this natural formation is so impressive that for many years mysticism has involved the mountain range and many stories are told about the place. According to the mythology of local peoples, the great mountain glaciers are "the footprints of God's feet when one day he came to Earth." For some Amerindians, Mount Shasta is inhabited by the spirit of Chief Skell, who descended from the skies to the top of the mountain. It was also at Shasta, in August 1930, that the great master Saint Germain contacted Guy Ballard, founder of the “I Am” Movement, an arm of the Theosophical Society of Madame Blavatsky and Baron Olcott.

Also widespread is the concept that Mt. Shasta is the energy “base” of the planet, the primordial source of the universal life force that regulates the Earth's energy flow.

2. TITICACA LAKE: THE SECOND CHAKRA (SACRAL)

This watery immensity of paralyzing beauty is located in the Andes region, on the border between Peru and Bolivia. In terms of water volume, it is the largest lake in South America.

Lake Titicaca is considered the highest navigable lake in the world, as its surface is 3821 meters above sea level. According to Andean legend, it was in the waters of Titicaca that the Inca civilization was born, when the “Sun-god” instructed his children to look for an ideal place for his people.

Often represented by images of snakes, Lake Titicaca is located in the middle of several Leyi Lines, representing the chakra where the primal energy takes shape and matures. 3. AYERS ROCK: THE THIRD CHAKRA (SOLAR PLEXUS)

Also known as Uluru, it is a monolith located in north central Australia in the Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park. It is over 318 m high, 8 km in circumference and extends 2.5 km deep into the ground. The place is sacred to the aborigines and has numerous crevices, cisterns, rock caves and ancient paintings, the target of many historians over the years.

As it is considered sacred by the aborigines, many people who visit the place take a piece of rock as a souvenir or with the intention of bringing this tremendous energy to them. However, it must be said that the aborigines protect it through a curse, and whoever takes possession of any part of the monolith will be struck down by many misfortunes. There are several stories of tourists who took home a piece of the hill and returned the souvenir, claiming that it was bringing too much bad luck, as they were cursed for taking part of the monument. The Australian National Park, responsible for administration, says it receives at least one package a day, sent from around the world with a sample and an apology.

Ayers Rock is the representative of the emotional plexus, portrayed as the “umbilical cord” that supplies energy to all living beings. 4.STONEHENGE, SHAFTESBURY, DORSET AND GLASTONBURY: THE FOURTH CHAKRA (Heart)

Shaftesbury, Dorset and Glastonbury are very old places in the southeast of England, with very strong energy and that have animated legends and English literature for many years. Glastonbury is particularly notable for the myths and legends about the nearby hill, the Glastonbury Tor, which stands alone amidst the starkly smooth rest of the Somerset Levels landscape. These myths are Joseph of Arimathea, the Holy Grail and King Arthur.

Stonehenge, as well as the surrounding areas of Glastonbury, Somerset, Shaftesbury and Dorset, form the heart chakra of Mother Earth. Where Stonehenge is built is the strongest point of all that energy. 5.THE GREAT PYRAMIDS: THE FIFTH CHAKRA (Throat)

Positioned between Mt. Sinai and Mt. Olives, this chakra is the “voice of the Earth”. Nothing more symbolic, right? These immense buildings scream to the world a mysterious human intelligence, direct contacts with gods and a whole culture that fascinates us and causes reflection to this day.

Mother Earth's Laryngeal Chakra includes the Great Pyramid area, Mount Sinai and the Mount of Olives, which is located in Jerusalem – it is one of Mother Earth's greatest energy centers, indicating its importance at this particular time in our history. It is also the only energy center that is not connected to the Great Dragon Male or Female Ley Line. 6.AEON ACTIVATION: THE SIXTH CHAKRA (Third Eye)

This is, out of the 7 major energy points on Earth, the only one that is not definitely established somewhere. Currently located in Glastonbury, England, it is a transitory place that opens energy portals and facilitates the flow of dimensional energy from one realm to another. Similar to the function of the human pineal gland, this earth chakra is outside the Ley line and only remains in one place for approximately 200 years. 7.MOUNT KAILASH: THE SEVENTH CHAKRA (Crown)

Mount Kailash is located in Tibet, in the Himalayas region, considered one of the holiest places for Hindus and Buddhists. Situated in Ngari, by the Manasarovar and Rakshasta lakes, Kailash is the source of four of the largest rivers in Asia: the Ganges, the Brahmaputra river, the Indus River and the Sutlej river.

For Buddhists, Kailash is the center of the universe and every Buddhist aspires to turn it around. As for the Hindus, the mount is the abode of Shiva. According to local legends, in the vicinity of the mountain, there are holy places where “the stones pray”.

Mount Kailash is not only sacred but also the center of the Earth's crown chakra and helps us find the spiritual journey and connect with the divine. Those who have been there guaranteed that the energetic impact is immense and a meditation done in this place can transform a life forever. “Everyone is afraid of the weather, but time is afraid of the pyramids"
